Recently, most of the furniture products on the market are for adult use, but there are few furniture designed for children. In recent years, we have conducted field interviews and researches on large-scale international furniture exhibitions held in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places. Exhibitors in the exhibition are mostly powerful and influential companies in China. They represent the highest level of China's furniture industry. The survey results show that among the hundreds of exhibitors in an exhibition, there are often only about 10 children's furniture manufacturers. Less than 2% of the total number of exhibitors, and some of them are well-known foreign manufacturers, such as Sweden's IKEA and Denmark's FLEXA. Among the tens of thousands of furniture companies in the country, only more than 200 are engaged in children's furniture. Mass production has many unsatisfactory places in this few options. Most of the children's furniture on the market is also selling flat, which is largely due to the tangible and intangible design of its furniture styles. Many children's furniture are only scaled down, and adult furniture with slightly modified shapes are painted with bright colors or The common cartoon images on painting only stay at the look like children's furniture-some furniture materials on the level do not consider green environmental protection functions, etc., and products that can really meet the needs of children's psychological and physical characteristics are rare. 2 Children's furniture design As far as the current children's furniture market is concerned, the new concept is not that the market is not hot, but that we don't have products that can really appeal to consumers. It has become the consensus of many children's furniture manufacturers. The designers have not yet fully understood the real needs of children, and there are not enough furniture in line with their tastes to satisfy these beautiful and dreamy children consumers for a happy future. Here, our designer is trying to introduce a new concept of children's furniture design. Its purpose is that when designing children's furniture, it must not only conform to green standards but also conform to ecological principles (referring to human-friendly and environment-friendly design ideas). It should be a simple plane combination of various furniture components, but should be developed to three-dimensional space to adapt to the changes in children's room space brought about by the optimization of the indoor space of residential buildings in my country in the new century. Create a comprehensive multifunctional space for children.
